Prince Harry’s Concern for His Niece and Nephews: A Royal Family Divide
The news regarding the estrangement of the British Royal family and Prince Harry is attracting much attention. It is assumed that Prince Harry and his immediate family will soon part ways after the comments of Harry about the family in his autobiography and Netflix series. Despite having disputes, the younger sibling of the William-Harry sibling duo still worried about his young niece and nephews ever since they learned about the condition of their mother, Kate Middleton who is suffering from cancer.
A report regarding the same has been shared by a media outlet citing that Prince Harry said that he still reflects on the role of Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte in the royal household and larger establishment. It is worth noting that Prince Harry has already left the palace and is now living in the United States with his spouse Meghan Markle and two children. As per a media outlet during an interview, Prince Harry stated “I know full well, within my family, if it’s not us, it’s going to be someone else.”
He added in his statement “And though William and I have talked about it once or twice, he has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility knowing that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare. And that hurts, that worries me.”
The worry he is showing towards his nephew or niece is visible in his autobiography “Spare” where he hinted about the probable bias between the siblings. The memoir of Prince Harry was released on 10 January 2023 where he mentioned in detail about raising as the “spare” as opposed to his elder brother Prince William. In one of the chapters, he reminisced that when he and his brother were kids, they used to share a room at Balmoral Castle located in Scotland. The royal family usually spent their summers at this palace. The side of the room of Prince William was pretty big and had a beautiful sighting.
